The purpose of this study was to develop a liner and adhesive system which could withstand repeated cyclic loading. In Task I, six adhesive systems were evaluated by coupon testing. Task II involved the design of a subscale pressure vessel to achieve 2.0% strain with a longitudinal to circumferential strain ratio of 1/1 in the test section. Task III involved burst testing the pressure vessels of Task II at ambient and cryogenic temperatures. The information gained from this program has resulted in the development of an excellent adhesive for cryogenic temperature application. (Author)
