Ground Data-Handling System Study for the Earth Resources Observation Satellite. Phase II: User Data Processing Requirements

The ground data handling aspects of the EROS Program are considered from the users point of view. The type of processing that would be most useful to the user for their analysis and interpretation, the techniques that are currently available or can be developed to accomplish this processing is discussed. The data needs of two potential EROS-data users, the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Desert Research Institute of the University of Nevada, were investigated in detail. (Author)
