Investigation of Non-Noble Metal Alloys for Dental Purposes

摘要

The major objectives were the testing of four alloys of specified compositions in the Cu-Mn-Ni system with respect to their casting behavior under dental laboratory conditions, and their electrochemical corrosion behavior in solutions of artificial saliva at 37C. The object of the testing program was to establish the feasibility of developing economical alloys to be used for distal extension partial dentures. (Author)
