Technological Issues in Multiphasic Health Screening at an Urban Hospital

摘要

The experience of a hospital based Multiphasic Health Screening Program which has examined approximately 28,000 persons in an urban setting was reviewed. The focus of this report is on human factors, and technological problems including general quality control, and EDP planning, documentation, control procedures and audit. It is obvious that the existing model of MHS is not optimal and requires considerable improvement in the technology, in addition to meeting the human factor requirements for consumer acceptance and physician cooperation.
