摘要

The authors have developed a programmed test method which is capable of verifying the mechanical properties of heavy thickness steel plates for nuclear vessels by using small specimens which are simulated to the cooling curves from austenitized temperature of vessel segments by a specially designed heating and cooling apparatus. As a result of experiment,we have gained confidence that this test method can be applied to actual production in place of the conventional 'vessel test method'or the '3 T test method'which requires a large quantity of testing materials.
