摘要

The technical approach taken in the solution of the problems encountered in developing an information storage and retrieval system is defined. Since many of the programs were common to a number of separate files,macros and generalized routines were written which are used by many programs. The design and usage of these macros and routines are discussed in detail. In addition to the generalized routines,the major programs are described in detail. Since this manual intends to define the detailed logic of the system,each program is treated as a separate entity. (Author)
