Study and Concept Formulation of a Fourth-Generation Air Traffic Control System. Volume I-Study Report.

摘要

The operational concept,projected passenger demand,ATC system performance tradeoff data,and subsystem technological alternatives were evaluated to select the two most promising candidate systems for a fourth-generation (1995) ATC system. These two candidates and the upgraded third-generation system were then compared and a final recommended fourth-generation ATC system selected. The recommended system was described as to technology,operation,implementation plan,and required research and development. (Author)
