摘要

The proceedings of a symposium held November 17-19, 1969,at the Fogarty International Center,NIH,on the role of adenyl cyclase and cyclic 3', 5'-AMP in biological systems is presented. It is composed of fourteen authored papers and nine group discussions following presentations. Subjects include the properties of mammalian and bacterial adenyl cyclases;action of hormones on adenyl cyclase;mammalian cell hormone receptors;regulation by cyclic-AMP of metabolism,transport and secretory processes;role of cyclic AMP in enzyme induction and cell differentiation;regulation of cyclic AMP levels.
