Digital Signal Processing of Oceanic Seismic Profiler Data, 1971.

The report describes the initial phases of a program to apply digital signal processing to oceanic seismic reflection profiler data and documents the first year (1971) results. Our objectives have been (1) to improve the detection of deeply buried reflectors in thickly sedimented areas (continental margins), (2) reduce the interference from multiple reflections for improved detection and resolution of reflectors in shallow water areas (continental slopes and shelves).
