Preliminary Evaluation of Test Pile Records for Highway Structures in Louisiana.

摘要

The research was undertaken to examine and evaluate data collected by Louisiana Department of Highways for test piles for highway structures. Data for 1955test piles were available and represented a wide variety of pile materials,pile drivers and soil conditions prevelant in Louisiana. Of these piles, 305were loaded to failure. The data in the form of load-settlement records from load tests,blow count records from driving records,soil profiles from borings and descriptions of the piles and pile drivers were deemed adequate and suitable for extensive investigations of pile performance.
