Helena Valley,Montana,Area Environmental Pollution Study.

摘要

Because it had been alleged that pollutants are contributing to the endangerment of health and welfare in the Helena Valley,Montana,the study was undertaken to provide factual information bearing on the allegations and to aid in delineating the solution of any observed problem. The investigation concerned contamination of the environment by arsenic,cadmium,lead,zinc,and sulfur dioxide from the industrial smelting complex in the city of East Helena. The study included the investigation of in-plant air quality and lead accumulation in smelter workers. (Author)
