Hazard Classification of Explosives for Transportation Evaluation of Test Methods.

摘要

Present explosive classification methodology does not consider the environmental conditions experienced by explosive cargos,specifically,the interaction between stimuli and environmental parameters. Results of this investigation are reflected as recommended preliminary guidelines for the commercial and military transportation classification of various explosive or near explosive (fast reacting) materials. Specifically,recommendations are made for environmental parameters appropriate to explosives in the transportation modes,classification test methods for explosives,and classification of selected materials as a result of testing contained herein.
