In-Service Inspection Program for Nuclear Reactor Vessels.

摘要

The program has been divided into seven major divisions or projects. The major overall objectives of the projects are: (1) Evaluate presently available inspection systems and determine their potential for monitoring the integrity of pressure boundaries of operating nuclear steam generating units; (2) Identify development needs required to achieve workable inspection systems; (3) Define performance criteria and prepare functional specifications for one or more systems; (4) Develop guidelines to aid the utilities in evaluating proposed inspection systems or inspection services. Subjects covered are Industry Survey,NDT Evaluation Facility,Acoustic Spectrometer,Acoustic Emission,Conventional Ultrasonics,Acoustic Holography,and Reporting.
