Standard Fire Test of a Wood Stud Exterior Bearing Wall.

摘要

Fire endurance testing according to ASTM E-119was performed on a specimen of loadbearing,wood framed,unsymmetrical exterior bearing wall. Results of the tests indicate that exterior walls of the type tested will meet the heat transmission criteria of E-119for a period of 57minutes. Such walls will meet all other conditions of acceptance of E-119for a period of 60minutes and will meet the conditions of acceptance of the hose stream portion of the test. (Author)
