This third report primarily responds to the Legislature's requirement that the Virginia Institute of Marine Science provide advice and assistance to the Virginia Marine Resources Commission in the development of guidelines for evaluating wetlands by type and in identifying consequences of use of wetlands. This report also identifies continuing research needs.
