Periodontal Disease Among Youths 12-17 Years, United States

摘要

The report presents national estimates of the prevalence and severity of periodontal disease among youths aged 12-17 years in the United States according to race, sex, age, and other selected demographic characteristics. The severity and prevalence of periodontal disease were measured by the Periodontal Index (PI). A correlation analysis of the interrelation of the PI and selected demographic variables is also included.
