Ventilation Studies and Escape Plans for Underground Hardrock Mines.

摘要

The report provides a survey and analysis of noncoal mine ventilation and emergency escape plans with recommendations for improving existing systems. The ventilation systems and emergency escape plans for 16underground noncoal mines were determined by visits to the mine offices and then were evaluated and analyzed. Possible hazards related to the ventilation system were identified for each mine,and means to overcome them were recommended. The report includes a summary,which briefly describes the ventilation system for each mine and discusses problems that are common to a number of them. The complete report for each individual mine is also given.
