The purpose of the meeting was to bring together the senior representatives from each of the currently active contracts for the purpose of acquainting them with the Artificial Kidney-Chronic Uremia Program as a group of interdisciplinary projects with an ultimate common goal; and to present contractors with an opportunity to discuss their individual progress and the problems they face, as well as the solutions they seek to apply.
