A Study of Underground Mine Heat Sources. I. Survey of Underground Mine Heat Sources.

摘要

The sources of heat flow into a mine and the various effects that the heat has on mine personnel were investigated. Published information pertaining to these underground heat sources and their effects are compiled,in providing the mining industry with an available,easy-to-use reference to aid in the determination of mine ventilation requirements as mines are in phases of original planning or being extended to depth. Recommendations on important basic research needs are outlined for future consideration by Federal or industrial sponsorship.
