Chemical Analysis of Odor Components in Diesel Exhaust.

摘要

This report covers the design,construction and evaluation on an automatic liquid chromatographic system which provides an output directly proportional to odor intensity. It is designed to be used by a technician in the laboratory to support exhaust odor emission studies. The method is based on measurement of the two principal odor character groups,kerosene and smoky-burnt,present in diesel exhaust. The method has been shown to correlate well for wide range of engine and fuel conditions.
