CRYSTAL STRUCTURE ANALYSIS OF SELECTED PESTICIDES BY SINGLE CRYSTAL X-RAY DIFFRACTION:THE CRYSTAL AND MOLECULAR STRUCTURE OF PADAN

摘要

The solution of the crystal and molecular structure of Padan by single crystal X-ray diffraction confirmed that the compound under investigation is l, 3-bis (thiocarbamoyl)-2-N, N-dimethylamino-propane hydrochloride. The results show that the structure of Padan is very similar to that of acetylcholine. This similarity suggests that the toxicity of this insecticide may be due to its activity in cholinergic systems.
