Systems Design Recommendations Report for the International Registry of Tumor Immunotherapy.

The study provided support to the Immunology Branch,Division of Cancer Biology and Diagnosis,National Cancer Institute,for establishing and operating an International Tumor Immunotherapy Registry. Specific goals of the Registry include the following:Provide feedback to the research community on adverse reactions;provide for dissemination of positive results of clinical studies;provide a forum for negative or null results;help researchers to identify omissions and overlaps of research areas;discourage premature use and misuses of immunotherapeutic agents;further awareness of potential advantages of detailed protocol design;provide patient referral;and provide the capability for coordinating patient data collection for analysis of pooled data. The report presents the systems design recommendations and a schedule for implementation.
