Compilation and Summation of Historical and Existing Physical Oceanographic Data from the Eastern Gulf of Mexico in Support of the Creation of a MAFLA Sampling Program

A group of oceanographers were commissioned to compile and summarize meteorological data, raw data, describe the Eastern Gulf Circulation including the Loop Current and the interaction with the shelf, describe the intensity of fish spawning and zooplankton and make recommendations for future biological, geological, chemical and physical oceanography investigations. The report is a summary of statements of the group's individual and/or collective thoughts on the objectives.
