The focus of this conference is advanced research and development in automation and production technologies,with special reference to the discrete goods industries. R and D in Manufacturing and Related Areas is the Subject of the papers presented the first day. Studies concerning Assembly,Material Handling,and Inspection were presented the second day. The final day was spent on Postscript Reports and Impact Studies.
