Subsystem Specification Study NSF -Central Receiver Project.

摘要

This report develops a base line description of a commercial,central receiver,solar thermal power plant consistent with NSF guidelines and defines specifications for the principal developmental subsystems (concentration,receiver,and thermal storage). The specifications are developed as a result of a requirements verification allocation to the three subsystem technology programs, a 5MW(th) solar heat flux facility,and a 10MWe Proof of Concept Experiment (POCE) plant. The three subsystem technology programs,along with the POCE and 5MW(th) facility,are characterized to satisfy the commercial plant requirements assigned to each during the allocation process. Precursor activities required to support the three subsystem technology programs are identified.
