The report is part of a comprehensive study by the ARC of the effects of acid mine drainage. The particular report deals with the effects of acid mine drainage on industrial water users. The primary focus of this report is on identification of the industries most harmed,the cost to these industries of the pollution,the methods used by these industries to clean the water,and the expected changes in production if the pollution is abated.
