摘要

In agricultural experiments the experimenter is generally faced with the problem of adopting the suitable size and shape of the plot so that he can obtain the maximum information from his experimental material. In view of this, Institute of Agricultural Research Statistics collected data on uniformity trials for different crops and made investigations for arriving at suitable size and shape of plots. This monograph gives the results obtained from the analysis of uniformity trials data of various crops and also the methodology adopted for the purpose.
