Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics Properties of Uddeholm Valve Steels

摘要

Fatigue and fracture mechanics data is presented on Uddeholm hardened and tempered valve steels used in the manufacture of flapper and compressor valves. In the first paper the bending and tensile fatigue properties are documented. The second paper deals with material aspects of impact fatigue.
