The purpose of the study is to analyze the economic impact which could result from the application of application of alternative toxic pollutant effuent standards to be established under Section 307 (a) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments. The study is not an official EPA publication - it is a contractor's study, submitted by Versar, Inc. It is a supplement to the technical study prepared by Verar, Inc. supporting the issuance of proposed regulations under Section 307(a).
