Research Applied to Solar-Thermal Power Systems.

摘要

This project undertakes an integrated program of research and development focused on key technology of photothermal conversion for efficient use of solar energy in large-scale production of electricity. The report includes research and development on components of the system and heat transfer studies on system components. Experiments were continued on the scale model of a parabolic trough solar collector at a desert test site. A heat pipe with selective coating was replaced by a heat pipe coated with a flat black coating. Tests were performed with this absorber tube operating at temperatures up to 300 C. The effect of filling the space around the absorber tube with air was also studied.
