摘要

The computer program developed is intended to solve the two-dimensional equations of groundwater flow and mass transport using the Galerkin-finite element method. While the program was developed to investigate saltwater intrusion in coastal aquifers by considering a cross-section of the three-dimensional space,it can also be applied to the study of areal problems. The computer code is written in FORTRAN IV for the IBM 360/91system. The method of analysis is briefly described;and related documentation,such as FORTRAN program listings,are included.
