摘要

The pulsation dampener in a coal mine dust personal sampler pump is tested against the performance of a non-pulsating pump for collection efficiency. The concentration of coal dust sampled by pulsating pumps with dampeners must be within plus or minus 5% with a 95% confidence of that sampled by a non-pulsating pump. Concentrations are determined by gravimetric analysis for ten samples and compared using regression analysis.
