Survey of Flue Gas Desulfurization Systems,Lawrence Power Station,Kansas Power and Light Co.

摘要

The report gives results of a survey of the flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems at Kansas Power and Light Co.'s Lawrence Power Station. The systems utilize boiler injection of pulverized limestone,followed by tail-end wet scrubbing:unit 4,with a net capacity of 102MW,was retrofitted with two FGD modules and was placed in service in November 1968;and boiler 5,with a net capacity of 320MW,and its FGD system were started up in 1971.
