The Personnel Research and Development Center (PRDC) is a division of the U.S. Civil Service Commission's Bureau of Policies and Standards. It is responsible for supporting the Commission's examining programs; for the development and maintenance of a program of personnel and organizational research; and for technical assistance in personnel measurement and research to Federal, State, and local agencies; as well as for inter-relating with the psychological community and with the public.
