摘要

The immediate objectives for the overall project were to identify factors that might affect irrigation water conservation in the state of Idaho,to determine incentives and disincentives for sound water management that might exist or that might be instituted,and to attempt to assess,through personal interviews,the attitudes and reactions of farm operators and water organization operators as they involve irrigation water-use and management. Planning for a personal interview survey of Idaho farm operators was to include development of a sampling plan,design and pilot testing of personal interview instruments,development of survey analysis plans,and determination of survey implementation feasibility.
