Inventory of Land Use and Circulation Condition, Blaine, Washington, March 30, 1977. Phase II of the City of Blaine Comprehensive Plan Updating Process

During 1976 the City of Blaine Planning Commission began updating the City's Comprehensive Plan. Six 'phases' were outlined as steps in the updating process. The following six phases are: (1) Research the possibility of obtaining planning grant and/or matching monies to help fund the project and to prepare applications for the same; (2) Make inventory of land use and generate traffic volume and circulation data; (3) Perform Goal Study; (4) Write the portion of the Plan pertaining to the current profile of Blaine; (5) Write the main text of the plan (i.e. the 'blueprint') for future development of the City; and (6) Publish the updated Comprehensive Plan in sufficient quantity for general exposure and use by the people of Blaine and others interested.
