Development of a Serotyping System for 'Neisseria gonorrhoeae'.

摘要

It has been determined that a single polypeptide accounts for over sixty percent of the total outer membrane protein complement of the gonococcus. This protein as demonstrated,has important serotype specificity and has been used as the basis of a serological classification scheme for the gonococcus. This report documents a serological study of the gonococcus on the antigenic specificity of the major outer membrane protein.
