An Investigation of the Effects of Vehicular Traffic on the Beach Face

At present there are few data on the type and magnitude of damage caused by off-road vehicles on the beach face. The present policy of restricting vehicular usage needs to be explored from a scientific viewpoint. This study was initiated in order to provide some preliminary data on the geological effects of off-road vehicles impact on the beach face.
