Planning for the Use of Irish Sand Dune Systems: Proceedings of a Conference Held in Wexford on 27th and 28th April 1977

The first three papers deal with the formation and erosion of dune systems, their uses in the Republic of Ireland and on-site management techniques designed to allow the use of dune resources without causing unacceptable damage to their intrinsic values. The fourth paper argues that, if there is to be optimum use of dune resources, it is necessary to plan their use on a regional basis, and suggests a methodology whereby such planning could be carried out.
