摘要

The purpose of this project is to assist legislators in using technical information in their decision making. This report consists of the presentations of speakers who participated in the workshop. The workshop was divided into two sessions. One was designed to provide a broad overview of waste disposal. The other was more specific and dealt with the issues of hazardous waste disposal,radioactive waste disposal,sewage and sludge waste disposal,and solid waste disposal.
