This workshop considered grain-fed versus grass-fed livestock systems with respect to productive inputs which would be affected by a switch to a grass-fed livestock system in the U.S. The keynote presentation outlined implications of a shift from the present grain-grass fed livestock system toward an entirely grass-fed livestock production system.
