Report of the Joint Interim Task Force on Mental Health Program and Policy Review

The Mental Health Program and Policy Review Task Force was created to develop an overview of the recent shift in emphasis from institutional to community-based mental health care. The Task Force was charged with examining the effectiveness of community versus institutional care, currrent compliance with legislative directives, how priorities and minimum standards are set and security problems relating to care in both program sectors.
