摘要

The study was undertaken for the purpose of determining the usefulness of one methodology--the Delphi technique--for developing consensus as to indicators of quality emergency care. The Delphi technique is generally defined as a method for the systematic solicitation and collation of informed judgments by anonymous respondents who are usually, but not necessarily, experts on a particular subject matter. To obtain these judgments, Delphi utilizes a set of carefully designed, sequential questionnaires which are interspersed with summarized information and feedback of opinions derived from earlier responses.
