Safety and Performance of Hypo-/Hyperthermia Devices

This report includes a discussion and analysis of background information about the safety and performance of hypo-/hyperthermia devices which incorporate heating and/or cooling mechanisms intended to regulate body temperature. This background information, leading to the formation of recommendations, was obtained through a literature search and review, a manufacturer's survey, and user interviews.
