Recent technology has played an active role in altering tradition in the fishing industry. New electronic equipment used for fish detection, for example, is gradually replacing the intuitive methods of fish-hunting that fishermen have used for generations. This bibliography is designed to furnish the fisherman, the researcher, and others in the fishing industry with sources of information available concerning fish behavior in relation to fish-gear type or method.
