MLAB: An On-Line Modeling Laboratory. Reference Manual

MLAB is a computer program whose name is an acronym for 'Modeling Laboratory'. It is a tool for experimentation with and evaluation of mathematical models (Functions). MLAB is an interactive system for mathematical modeling. The heart of the system is a curve fitting program which will adjust the parameters of a model function to minimize the sum of the squared errors. A repertoire of mathematical operators and functions, a collection of routines for teletype and CRT plotting, and mechanisms for saving data between sessions provide a powerful and convenient environment for data manipulation, arithematic calculations, and for building and testing models.
