Foodgrain Supply, Distribution, and Consumption Policies within a Dual Pricing Mechanism: A Case Study of Bangladesh

This report provides a framework for analysis of food policy issues as demonstrated by the foodgrain distribution system of Bangladesh. It shows that public foodgrain distribution is primarily urban oriented, although the urban poor are often better fed than their rural counterparts.
