摘要

The major areas of activity at the Institute are in the field of drip irrigation; No tillage replanting; Botany; Chemistry; Entomology; Plant pathology; and Tea technology. In the tea technology area, research was conducted on stabilization of tea brew; Effect of shade on quality of tea; Tea chest lining material; Standardization of methods for estimation of tea constituents; Effect of addition of reconditioning dust in black tea manufacture; and dry matter content of Colonial tea leaves. The research findings in all activity areas are presented in this report.
