摘要

The report describes a mathematical model of a synchronous machine and an asynchronous machine connected to infinite bus via two lines. The model is programmed on an EAI-690 hybrid computer. The model is developed to stand as a basis for improvements of simplified machine models used in transient stability calculations of large networks. Numerical examples demonstrate machine characteristics during transients and the impact of various controls. The interaction of synchronous and asynchronous machines is also considered.
