摘要

This annual report for the year 2 September 1978 through 1 September 1979 presents the work done in the second year of a three-year program to develop and assess new and improved video instrumentation and new techniques for noninvasive detection, characterization and quantification of atherosclerosis for research and diagnostic applications. The results of the first 18 months of activity are on schedule except for delays imposed by late delivery of two important pieces of equipment. However, as there is flexibility built into the schedule, the authors anticipate that the three-year program will be completed as planned.
